Successful for:
Elisabeth Brockmann
"I've just seen your figures of saints in Friedberg - their faces are bursting with vibrancy and expressiveness. How do you do that?" wrote director Margarethe von Trotta in December 2014. Elisabeth Brockmann studied under Gerhard Richter and has been known for many years for her "big" surprises in an architectural context.
Scrivo Communications was able to accompany Elisabeth Brockmann's work in 2014 and 2015 and is still on friendly terms with the artist today. The reason for the collaboration was the "Glück" exhibition in Friedberg. The show was an interplay of nine inner-city light installations that reinterpreted Christian icons to mark the town's 750th anniversary year.
The public relations work aimed to draw attention throughout Bavaria and Germany to the luminous ensemble that has transformed the city into an opulent art space.
The challenge
The challenge was not only to convey Brockmann's depth and artistry through language without diminishing the appeal of the effect through over-interpretation. At the same time, it was important to touch on the philosophical level of Brockmann's iconic work in such a way that those interested in art could gain deeper access.
Solution
To achieve this, we focus primarily on communication in local, art and architectural media.
SUCCESSES
- Numerous publications in newspapers and magazines
- Further promotion of the artist in the relevant target group
